Client: Mid-Size Organization

Summary: My client is a mid-sized corporation with employees who require cybersecurity training to protect sensitive company data and information. They wanted to create an instructional-led training PowerPoint and facilitator guide that would cover best practices for cybersecurity, including phishing scams, password management, and other related topics.

Challenge

My challenge was to create a training program that would effectively educate employees on cybersecurity best practices. I needed to ensure that the training was engaging, easy to understand, and actionable, providing employees with the knowledge and skills needed to protect company data and information.

Additionally, I needed to ensure that the training was customized to the client's needs and preferences, including their branding and culture. I also needed to ensure that the training was relevant to the specific roles and responsibilities of the employees who would be participating.

Solution

To meet the client's needs, I conducted research into best practices for cybersecurity training and identified key topics that needed to be covered, such as identifying phishing scams and creating strong passwords. I then developed a customized training program that included a PowerPoint presentation and facilitator guide. The PowerPoint presentation was designed to be engaging and easy to follow, using clear visuals and concise language to explain complex cybersecurity concepts. The facilitator guide provided detailed instructions for the trainer, including suggested discussion points and activities to reinforce key concepts.

The training program was also customized to the client's needs, including their branding and culture. I conducted several rounds of review and feedback to ensure that the training program met their expectations and was relevant to the specific roles and responsibilities of the employees who would be participating.
